TAKING A TEST

How well you do on a test usually depends on these basic things:
  1. How much you know and how much you study.
  2. How well you understand how to take tests.

TEST TAKING TIPS

  1. Review your material during the week or days before the test.  Do not try to learn everything the night before the test.  You can't do it.
  2. Go to sleep early the night before the test.  You will be rested, and you'll be in good shape at test time.
  3. Study from your book and notes.  Outline your material if you haven't done that already.
  4. Know what to expect.  Ask your teacher what kind of test you will have.  Talk to other students to find out the type of test a certain teacher gives.
  5. Reread your test paper carefully before handing it in.  Make sure you have made all the corrections, additions, and changes you find necessary.
