September Important Information:

Welcome Back to Slatington Elementary!

I am very excited to meet and welcome each and every one of you to our classroom.

Note about SCHOOL SUPPLIES:

I know that you are anxious to purchase school supplies, but I'd like to offer a few suggestions.

1. There is not a lot of room in your desk for large notebooks or binders.

2. The PTO will be providing folders (for homework) and an assignment book.

3. We provide pencils and a set of 8 crayons. Please don't bring in the huge pack of crayons (64+).

4. You may want to bring your own scissors.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY or BRING PERSONAL PENCIL SHARPENERS to SCHOOL!

If you aren't sure what to buy, wait for the first day of school and then see what you need!

September:

• First Day of School- Tuesday, Sept. 7 , 2010. School opens at 8:15 AM.

• Meet our Teachers and PTO Night-  Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010
